STUDENT SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE CELL
“Building professionals with competence and confidence in different disciplines to identify and overcome upcoming challenges “guided the Kerala University of Health Sciences(KUHS) to come out with a holistic ‘’Student Guidance and Support Services” to shape up every student into a health professional who owns technical and social skills to perform optimally by focusing on the development of the students by addressing their academic issues, psycho-social issues and health issues. SSGC at LIMSAR is operating well and have conducted various activities since its inception.
ANTI- RAGGING CELL
Ragging in all its form is strictly prohibited in the campus and an Anti-ragging cell has been formulated to address this issue by getting an affidavit from the newly admitted students of the college.
PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION
The PTA consists of elected members of staff and parents with the Principal as its President and an elected parent member as the Vice President. The General Body of the PTA meets annually and the Executive Committee members meet periodically to review its activities.
RESEARCH COMMITTEE
The institution gives priority to quality research and provides continuous guidance for research activities and publication by students and faculty.

SRADHA & NERKOOTTAM COMMITTEE
This committee functions to control the increasing incidence of drug abuse among young students and its deleterious effects on society. This committee in collaboration with state excise is headed by the principal and vice-principal and involves various members for implementation of strict preventive measures against drug use in hostel and college.
The committee analyses the issues of drug abuse among students and provides guidance, counselling and advice corrective measures. Provides referrals if needed for treatment and deaddiction.
INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE
Sexual harassment infringes on the following two fundamental rights provided by the Constitution of India: One is the right of a woman to gender equality under Article 14 and the other is the woman’s right to life and live with dignity under Article 21. The Committee for managing Gender Issues has been set up as the Internal Complaint Committee by LIMSAR as per the UGC guidelines. ICC was set up not only to deal with complaints of sexual harassment of women in the workplace but also to focus on creating awareness, counselling and educating about gender issues.
