Little Flower Hospital was started in 1936, as a primary health centre under the management of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam in response to the health needs of the community.
This small health centre has grown to become an Institution of enormous magnitude both in dimension and reputation through the strenuous efforts of the directors, doctors, Rev. sisters and other members of the staff. Now, the Hospital sprawls out on 14 acres of land in a huge building complex.
Little Flower Hospital is a ‘not-for-profit’ registered charitable trust aimed at providing quality medical care to the society especially to the poor and the under privileged. This is also a highly professional training and research centre, providing quality health care both prophylactic and curative in almost all the specialities. It has grown and developed into a 800 bedded multi specialty hospital having an average out-patients attendance of 1600 daily.
