MASTER OF OPTOMETRY (M.Optom)


Master’s program in Optometry is a 2 year course designed to produce graduates of high standards in research who are equipped with appropriate skills to meet the challenges and problems of primary eye care in a selected specialization

Eligibility for Admission:

Candidates who have passed:

  1. BSc Optometry Degree from KUHS or other Universities recognised as equivalent to KUHS and shall have a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate of all the years of    University examinations of the course) through a full-time regular mode of study. The candidate shall have obtained permanent registration in the respective state council, wherever applicable.
  1. In case of the Grade system, the Grade to percentage of marks conversion scheme obtained from the University shall be uploaded along with the application.
  2. The applicants should satisfy the minimum requirements for admission before the last date fixed for submission of the application.

Mode of Selection: On the basis of academic merit and the score in the interview conducted by the college.
